Description:  Passing line leading to inside the 18yd box finishes.

Instructions

1. The Blue Player plays a pass to the showing Red Player.

2. The Red Player passes the ball back, then opens up.

3. The Blue Player plays the Red Player again.

4. The Red Player turns, to play the showing Yellow Player.

5. The Yellow Player passes the ball back to the checking Red Player and opens up.

   1. (Once this happens, the group on the other side of the goal can start going as well).

6. The Red Player returns the pass to the Yellow player, who takes a touch towards goal, then shoots.
   

Setup

• One cone at the bottom corner of the 6yd box.

• One cone slightly above the top corner of the 6yd box.

• One cone near the top middle of the 18yd box.

• Replicate these three cones on the other side of the goal to run the drill simultaneously.

Rotation

• Blue - Red - Yellow (Follow your pass).

Coaching Points

• Can make 1 or 2 touch.

• Checking shoulder after passing and as they are about to receive a pass.

• Opening up into space (pretending the cone is a defender).

• Focusing on their pass quality.

• If running the drill side by side simultaneously, making sure the goalie gets up quickly, or switches out (if there are two goalies present).
