Players: 5+ | Difficulty: 1 |
Description: A mix of "Four Square" and a classic Rondo.
Application: Quick passes while making rondos more of a game!

Instructions

The base of the game is a rondo. Try to keep the ball away from the defender (purple in example).
Player 1 is the "King/Queen" of the game.
The players start at spot 4, and will try to work their way up to spot 1 to be the "King/Queen".
If a square player gets the ball stollen / kicked away by the defender, they become the defender (full rotation listed below).
Players move up to the next square accordingly.
OPTIONAL: The player position (1,2,3,4) can indicate the amount of touches they are allotted, making it harder to stay in the higher squares.
Rules

Each player must stay inside their box.
Passes must be "reasonable". If the pass is not reasonably receivable, the passes is at fault.
Setup

4 Box grids made of cones/lines. (Size dependent on player skill)
A line starting behind player 4.
Rotation

Coaching Points

Focus on quick passing and decision making.
Can alter the allotted touches on the ball.
If a player is "hiding" from a pass, they become the defender.
