Players: 2+ | Difficulty: 1|
Description: A player will chase a a dribbling opponent around polls.
Application: Players will gain better control of the weight of their touches while dribbling while also getting cardio work.

Instructions

The drill is a dribbling chase, where one player dribbles around the polls while the other runs without a ball to try to catch up.
AS SEEN IN THE EXAMPLE
The players start at opposite posts.
The Red Player will have a ball.
The Red Player will start dribbling to, and around the other poll.
Once the Blue Player sees the Red Player start, they will start running towards the Red Player's initial poll, and around it trying to chase the Blue Player.
Rules

The two will continue racing around the polls in an oval route until the chaser tags the dribbler.
Setup

2 Cones/Polls 10 yards apart.
1 Ball per group.
Rotation

Players switch polls.
Coaching Points

The dribbler should try to keep their touches controlled so they don't waste any time rounding the cones/polls.
If the dribbler is fast or the chaser is slow, then each round could be quite tiresome.
Make sure players utilize efficient turns at the cones/polls.
